Accused Car Burglar Arrested In Clovis

Posted:
CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

If you are the victim of a smash-and-grab in Clovis, there's a chance you could see some of your stuff again.

Clovis Police say someone saw 26-year-old Mark Munoz looking in car windows at Dry Creek Park off Clovis and Alluvial early Tuesday morning.

Officers swooped in and say they found a backpack, laptop, credit cards, Redbox DVDs and numerous gift cards, including a $300 Starbucks card.

Munoz was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

Officers believe Munoz broke into at least nine cars since September, and they're working to give people back their property.

Police say this should serve as a reminder to not leave valuables in your car.
