Fire Damages Fresno Home; Pets Rescued

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno firefighters rescued several pets from a home that caught fire Friday morning.

The fire was reported just before 6:30 a.m. at a home on Safford and Thomas avenues in Central Fresno.

Fire crews say eight people were able to get out safely.

Eight pets were rescued from the burning home.

Investigators believe the fire started because of an electrical problem.

No one was hurt.
