Caught On Video: ATM Stolen In Madera County

Posted:
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Madera County sheriff's investigators are hoping surveillance video will help them identify and catch the thieves who broke into a gas station convenience store and stole an ATM.

The burglary happened just after 4 a.m. Wednesday at the Table Mountain Chevron, located at Highway 41 and Avenue 15.

The video shows three men pulling up to the gas station in an older model Chevy pickup. The camera captures two men smashing a store window and carrying out an ATM. The driver then hops out and helps load the machine onto the truck bed.

Deputies say the truck is believed to be green or blue, with chipped paint on the hood and top. They say it also had chrome rims.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Madera County Sheriff's Office at (559) 675-7770 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
