SELMA, Calif. (KMPH) -
Firefighters fought a two-story house fire in Selma Monday night.
Fire officials say a family of six was inside, including a small child.
They all got out safely.
Unfortunately, a cat was killed inside.
The home is more than 60 years old. A team of 33 firefighters was able to keep the flames to one room and the attic.
Officials still don't know why the home caught fire.
