Two Stabbed In Madera County Robbery

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two workers were stabbed during a robbery at a Madera County business Sunday night, and now authorities are looking for two suspects in connection with the case.

According to reports, two armed men robbed La Raza Market on Pecan and Madera avenues shortly before 9:30 p.m., the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.

Two men working inside the store suffered stab wounds and were taken to an area hospital, the sheriff's office said. It's not known how they are doing.

The first suspect is described as possibly being in his mid-20s, 5'3" tall, with a thin build, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt and shorts. Investigators say he was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as possibly being in his mid-30s, 6'0" tall, bald, heavy set, wearing a clown mask, brown short sleeve T-shirt, baggy pants and white shoes. Investigators say he was armed with a knife.

Both men were seen running east toward Parkwood.
