Yosemite Offers Free Admission For Veterans Day Weekend

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KMPH) -

Yosemite National Park will offer free admission to all visitors on Veterans Day weekend -- Saturday, November 10 through Monday, November 12.

"Waiving entrance fees to all public lands on Veterans Day and Veterans Day weekend is one way to show appreciation for the millions of men and women who fight to keep America's public lands accessible to all Americans," the National Park Service said in a news release.

Only park entrance fees will be waived on Veterans Day weekend. All other fees associated with camping, lodging, or activities within the park are not waived.

This fee-free weekend has been observed since 2006.
