Trick Or Treat For Sandy's Victims

Posted: Updated:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

We would like to encourage you to step up and help those who have seen their lives and property devastated by Superstorm Sandy.

We're calling it "Trick or Treat for Sandy's Victims."

Our news team will be collecting money outside the KMPH studios live during Great Day on Friday, November 2, 2012.

You can stop by and drop off your donation between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m.

We are located at 5111 E. McKinley Avenue, right by Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

If you don't have it to give, take up a collection at work or during Halloween trick or treating. How about collecting money at your homes or asking for cash for Sandy's victims instead of candy?

You can even make flyers to hand out telling people to come to the station Friday morning to donate.

We'll post pictures of donors on our website and Facebook page, you'll meet our Great Day team, and you just might be live on the air with us.

The Salvation Army will handle the funds and get all of the money to people who were hurt by Sandy.
