Search Underway For Missing Hiker

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Crews in the Sierra are continuing their search for a hiker who has been missing since Monday.

According to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks spokeswoman Dana Dierkes, 53-year-old Larry Conn left on a backpacking trip Friday in the eastern Sierra.

He was hiking a trailhead in the Inyo National Forest and planned to travel over Taboose Pass toward the John Muir Trail in Kings Canyon National Park.

Dierkes said Conn had planned to finish his trip on Monday.
