FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a Sanger man wanted for robbery after leading deputies on a chase and crashing his car.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Santos Antonio Ybarra.

Investigators say on Sunday night they got a call of an armed robbery at a home in the 1500 block of Burk Lane in Wonder Valley.

When they got there,  the man at the home said two men in a silver Honda went into his trailer and robbed him at gunpoint. They both ran away.

Deputies developed information that Ybarra was one of the suspects.

On Monday morning just before 3:00 a.m., deputies saw a car matching the description of the one used in the armed robbery.

They tried to pull over the driver but he kept going and a chase followed.

A short while later the car crashed into a parked car near Jefferson and Oak Street in Del Rey.

Ybarra tried running away but was quickly arrested.  He was booked into Fresno County Jail on several charges including robbery, receiving and possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and three outstanding felony arrest warrants for further property related crimes.
