Gas Prices Drop Across the Central Valley in Time for Weekend Travel

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

It's about time.

Gas prices are taking a dive after skyrocketing earlier this month.

As of Friday morning, AAA reports drivers in Fresno were paying an average of $4.43/gallon of regular unleaded.

That's a four cent drop overnight, and down 16 cents compared to a week ago.

Prices also dropped in other Valley cities.

In Merced, prices dropped by five cents overnight to $4.47.

In Visalia, drivers are paying $4.51 a gallon in time for the weekend.
