Teen Boy Stabbed In Merced

MERCED, Calif. (KMPH) -

Investigators in Merced are trying to figure out who stabbed a teenager.

Merced Police say the 16-year-old boy was approached by four or five men along Glen Avenue near Santa Fe around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. They say he was stabbed several times in the chest before the group of men ran away.

The teen was flown to a hospital. It's not known how he is doing.
