FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a Sanger Unified school bus and a truck in Southeast Fresno.
The accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fowler and Church.
There were 52 students on board the bus when it crashed with the truck.
Officers say the driver of the truck was at fault. They think he was at a stop sign and was under the impression that the bus was also supposed to stop, so he drove ahead.
The man broke his arm.
No students were hurt.
The district sent another school bus to take the students to their campuses.
Fowler Avenue was closed for about two hours while crews cleared the scene.
