LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KMPH) -
It was a long trip for some United Airlines passengers trying to make their way back to Fresno.
Passengers on board United Flight 6433 left Los Angeles International Airport around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, only to return to Los Angeles because the plane lost an engine.
KMPH Sports Director Ralph Wood was on the plane.
He says it sounds a lot worse than it was.
Ralph said it was "unsettling, but I would have never known anything was wrong if they hadn't told us."
There were no more seats available to Fresno on Monday, so the airline chartered a bus to take the passengers home.
Everyone is doing okay.
