FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man is recovering after being hit by a car outside of a Fresno club.

The man was struck before 2 a.m. Monday in front of Aldo's Night Club off Belmont and Delno.

According to witnesses, the man was wearing dark clothing when he was in the road.

It's not clear why the man was in the street.

He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he was last listed in stable condition.

Police say the driver is cooperating with their investigation.
