AVENAL, Calif. (KMPH) -
Authorities in Avenal are investigating a deadly shooting and a double stabbing.
Avenal Police say 20-year-old Albert Alcala was walking with two other men in the area of Stanislaus and A Street Sunday morning.
That's when a group of men confronted them.
Police say the men then shot and killed Alcala and stabbed the two other men.
Both men who were stabbed were taken to a hospital. One of them has since been released.
Investigators are looking for at least two suspects and believe this attack was gang related.
