Man Drowns In Madera County Lake

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Madera County Sheriff's Office is investigating the drowning of a man at Hensley Lake.

Sheriff's officials said the body of 61-year-old Tommy Katsuji Uyemaruko, of Fresno, was pulled from the lake near a boating dock at about 6 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses said they heard someone screaming earlier but couldn't see anything except a boat floating away.
