Stabbing Inside Valley Casino; 1 Hurt, 1 Arrested

LEMOORE, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man is recovering after being stabbed inside a Valley casino over the weekend.

Kings County sheriff's deputies say they received a call just before 7 p.m. Sunday about a stabbing at the Tachi Palace Casino in Lemoore.

When deputies got there, they found a man stabbed in the chest. He was taken to a Fresno hospital to be treated for a punctured lung.

Witnesses were able to identify the accused attacker as 30-year-old Ramon Francisco Navarrete.

Navarrete was arrested on the property and booked at the Kings County Jail.

He faces charges of attempted murder.
