FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
Detectives have a body, now a vehicle, but they still
don't have the killer behind Fresno County's latest homicide.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says 61-year-old Adan Flores-Rodriguez went to the Cherry Auction Tuesday morning to sell a Chevy Tahoe.
That SUV was found Saturday morning in an orchard near Academy and Rose avenues, east of Selma.
Detectives believe whoever
killed the Fresno man ditched the SUV in the orchard sometime
between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Flores-Rodriguez's body was discovered in a field near Cedar and American avenues shortly before noon Tuesday.
The sheriff's office is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to
the arrest of Flores-Rodriguez's killer.
Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (559) 488-3111.
