Fire Destroys Warehouse In Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A fast-moving fire destroyed a warehouse in Southeast Fresno Friday afternoon.

Fresno firefighters were called to the property along Maple just north of Belmont at about 2 p.m.

Five buildings burned to the ground, sending thick black smoke into the air.

Authorities closed off streets within a half-mile perimeter as crews worked to put out the fire.

The warehouse appeared to be unoccupied.

No injuries were reported.
