FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

KMPH News has learned new details about Tuesday morning's crash near Selma that killed three Valley students.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of South and McCall.

The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the three men killed as David Trejo, Joseph Sarabia and Isaiah Vasquez.

All three men were 21 years old, from Fowler and attended Reedley College.

California Highway Patrol officers say the men were not wearing seatbelts when the car they were riding in struck a power pole after running past a stop sign and crashing into another car.

The second car was carrying two people; one suffered major injuries and a second is expected to be okay.
