FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a Fresno girl last week won't be getting out of jail anytime soon.
A Fresno judge revoked bail for 23-year-old Kalvin Cardenas Monday afternoon because the judge says he believes Cardenas might try to run.
Police arrested Cardenas last Wednesday after a three-hour standoff at his home in Clovis.
The standoff was triggered by a little girl who says Cardenas kidnapped her on her way to school last Tuesday, sexually assaulted her and left her tied up in a field near Kerman.
Cardenas will be back in court next month.
