FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash near Selma that left three people dead.
It happened at the intersection of South and McCall shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday.
CHP officers say a Saturn carrying four people in their 20s sped past a stop sign and slammed into a Toyota with two people inside.
The Saturn wound up wrapped around a power pole.
Three men inside that car were killed, and a woman was badly hurt.
The two men inside the Toyota were taken to a hospital; one suffered major injuries, and the second is expected to be okay.
