FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Firefighters are trying to figure out what started a fire at a Fresno home Friday morning.
This is the second fire in the last 24 hours at the house, which is located at Winery and Carmen avenues; that's near McKinley and Chestnut.
Fresno firefighters say they were called to the home around 3 p.m. Thursday for a kitchen fire.
This forced the family out, and they spent the night somewhere else.
But they left their dog behind, and it died in Friday morning's fire from smoke inhalation.
