Edison High School is preparing for its first football game since the shooting death of one of the Tigers' players, 18-year-old senior Marquis Sutton, earlier this week.
Head coach Ricky Manning Junior says his players are fighting through the initial shock, with the help of classmates and the community.
Senior quarterback Khari McGee expects the Tigers to come together and give 100 percent in everything they do.
Edison will play at Clovis West Friday night, and has dedicated the season to Sutton.
