
The Fresno State volleyball team ended a long losing streak to its crosstown rival Tuesday night, beating Fresno Pacific in an exhibition match, 3-2.
The Bulldogs had lost all seven of the previous meetings between the schools.
Fresno State's Korrin Wild led the way with 19 kills and 15 digs. The Bulldogs also had 24 blocks in rallying from behind to take the final two games of the match.
The scores were 25-19, 26-28, 25-27, 25-20 and 15-11.
Fresno State opens Mountain West Conference play Thursday night, hosting New Mexico.
Fresno Pacific is home Wednesday night to host Chaminade.
