MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A family disturbance led deputies to a home where they discovered nearly a dozen marijuana plants and a stolen vehicle, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.

29-year-old Santiago Rosas, of Madera, was arrested in connection with this case.

On Saturday, deputies went to a home on Sunnyside Avenue near Road 30 1/2 in Madera County after receiving a call about a family argument.

Deputies said they found and seized 11 marijuana plants and a Chevy suburban that was reported stolen out of Fresno on September 14.

Rosas, who according to jail records is a self-admitted gang associate, claims a relative from San Jose bought the SUV a couple of weeks ago, the sheriff's office said.

Rosas was booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. His bail was set at $75,000.
