Two Escape Fresno House Fire

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two men were able to escape an early morning house fire in Central Fresno thanks to their smoke alarm.

Fresno firefighters were called to the burning home on Fedora, near Blackstone and Dakota, around 3:45 a.m. Friday.

Investigators believe the fire started in the attic, and the cause may be electrical.

The fire proved dangerous for crews after the roof appeared to cave in at one point.

Then, power lines went down.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.
