The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in an orchard just east of Parlier.
Homicide detectives went to the area of Manning and Smith at about 1 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a call about an injured person.
When they checked the area, detectives found the body of a man in an orchard just off the roadway.
The Fresno County Coroner's Office on Thursday identified him as 34-year-old Armando Hernandez, of Parlier.
An autopsy is expected to be completed on Friday to find out how Hernandez died.
