FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Volunteers have raised the reward amount for a dog stolen from a Fresno County animal shelter Monday night.
KMPH first told you Tuesday night about George, a four-year-old pit bull stolen from the Selma Animal Shelter.
Volunteers there are heartbroken and worry the thieves plan to use him as a fighting dog.
They say they'll take George back, no questions asked.
They've raised the reward amount for his return to $500.
If you have any information on where George might be, you're urged to call Selma Police at (559) 896-2525. You can remain anonymous.
