MICHIGAN (KMPH) - A Great Dane in Michigan has snatched the title of world's tallest dog.
Three-year-old Zeus is 44 inches tall at the shoulder and over 7 feet tall standing on his hind legs.
His owners say he eats 10 to 12 cups of food a day.
Zeus had been trying to take the title of world's tallest dog for the last year.
After a series of measurements, the Guinness Book of World Records officially named him the world's tallest last week.
Out of the spotlight, Zeus lends his gentle nature for pet therapy at a hospital.
His owners don't expect him to get any taller.
