FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Authorities have arrested a man in Missouri wanted in connection with a murder in the Lindsay area.
Members of the U.S. Marshal's Service took Joshua Stepp, 23, into custody Sunday morning at an Amtrak station in Kansas City.
Tulare County sheriff's detectives believe he killed his neighbor, Michael Avalos, early Friday morning.
Avalos' body was found hours later in a torched-out car near Avenue 224 and Road 236.
Stepp remains in Missouri and will be sent back to the Valley.
