FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
It was a typical Monday morning for employees at "Fallas Paredes" in Southeast Fresno until two guys walked in.
"The cashier said she saw the guys come into the store. She was doing her job over there. And I have another employee working in the back," Dioselina Escallire, store manager, said.
The store manager says she thinks the guys saw all of the employees and got nervous.
So they each grabbed an armful of jeans and bolted; getting away with about 45 pairs, nearly $600 worth.
"We seen them running that way but we can't see the faces," Escallire said.
In the store's surveillance video, you can see the two guys walk in, then minutes later, run out with jeans in hand.
Dioselina says this isn't the first time something like this has happened, but this is the most the crooks have ever gotten away with.
"It's scary too because it was early in the morning," Escallire said.
If you have any information about this robbery, you're asked to call the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000.
