MERCED, Calif. (KMPH) -
A man was shot and killed in Merced, and now police are trying to figure out who pulled the trigger.
At about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Merced Police went to the area of Childs Avenue and G Street after receiving a call about several shots fired.
When they got there, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the driveway of his home. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say they have sketchy details on this shooting, and have not been able to find a motive.
The victim's name has not been released.
This is the city's sixth homicide of the year.
