The Fresno State football team didn't make history, Saturday, returning from Oregon, 42–25 losers, falling to the fourth ranked squad in the country. But what they did do was prove that they won't quit, and that they can play with anyone, if the motivation is there.
In the first half, it looked like a top ranked team playing against a mid major squad, giving up 35 unanswered points on several big plays. But the second half, the Dogs actually out played the Ducks at times, forcing three turnovers, and outscoring the high flying squad, 19–7.
Next up for the Bulldogs is another Pac–12 school. Colorado comes to the valley, Saturday, for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff. The Buffaloes are (0–2), after losing to Sacramento State on a last second field goal.
