Drive-By Shooting In Selma Leaves 1 Hurt

SELMA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Authorities in Selma are investigating a drive-by shooting that left a man in serious condition.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday, Selma Police were called to the 3200 block of Thompson Avenue, near Selma High School.

Officers found an 18-year-old man who had been shot.

Investigators say he had been with others outside a home, when someone inside a green van, possibly an Astro van, started shooting.

So far no arrests have been made.

Police say this shooting was likely gang-related.
