FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
One person is under arrest following a deadly crash near Selma.
California Highway Patrol officers believe 57-year-old Anselmo Robles was under the influence of drugs when he ran a red light at the intersection of Mountain View and Golden State around 5:30 a.m. Friday.
Officers believe he drove right into the path of a van, whose driver had the right of way.
The van slammed into Robles' Honda Civic.
The impact killed a passenger in the Honda.
The driver of the van suffered cuts and bruises.
Authorities have only identified the person killed in the crash as a 51-year-old woman from Reedley.
