FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The California Department
of Food and Agriculture said on Wednesday it is recalling raw milk and cream from a Fresno County dairy after tests found the bacteria campylobacter in the cream.
The following products from Organic Pastures are being recalled: Grade A raw
whole milk, skim milk and raw cream. The recalled products have a code date of Sept. 13.
No
illnesses have been reported.
This is the third time in less than a year that the dairy's raw milk products have been recalled.
In May, ten people got sick after consuming products from Organic Pastures. Tests confirmed campylobacter in the cream.
In November, three children
who drank the dairy's milk were taken to the hospital. They were infected
by a strain of E. coli that state officials suspect came from the
dairy's milk.
