FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
An eye catching political sign went on display Wednesday at food service industry giant Lyons Magnus in southwest Fresno. The sign takes a big swipe at President Obama.
It's only three lines, but it's a very strong message to President Obama. It went up one day before the President takes the spotlight at the Democratic National Convention.
It reads, "This business was built without government help." The second line is very personal and derogatory. It signs off with, "I'm Bob Smittcamp and I approve this message."
Smittcamp is president of food service industry giant Lyons Magnus, based in Fresno. KMPH News tried to talk to Smittcamp who is a mover and shaker in the Fresno County Republican Party, but we were told he didn't have time to comment.
Five minutes later two Lyons Magnus employees brought the sign down. It's not known if it's down for the night or if it was only meant to be a one day message.
