FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Muscle diseases affect millions of people around the world and many right here in the Valley.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association relies on your donations to help provide services for those folks and holds fundraisers throughout the year.

In the video, KMPH News anchor Nicole Garcia shows us how the money raised helps some patients afford top notch care at clinics across the Valley.

The MDA "Show of Strength" Telethon will air Sunday, September 2, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on KMPH Fox 26.
