FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A man wanted in connection with a shooting that left a Fresno convenience store clerk dead has been caught.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Dwayne Dodson, 35, at an apartment complex along Polk near Shaw in Northwest Fresno Friday morning.
Fresno Police believe he's the man who shot and killed Kashmir Manes, 45, while he was working inside the Super 1 convenience store on Tulare and 7th Street on August 23.
This is the second arrest made in connection with this homicide case. Investigators say it all started out as an attempted robbery.
Last Friday, police arrested Christopher Roberts. They say he also tried to rob the store with Dodson, and he's the one who beat a second clerk with a metal object.
