FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The Fresno State Bulldogs will take the field for the first home game of the season Saturday night.
The team will be led by new head coach Tim DeRuyter.
Coach DeRuyter wants Fresno State to go after the football on defense, and go after it hard, creating fumbles and interceptions.
He wants the Bulldogs to have 20 plus turnovers this season.
Fresno State has not been on the plus side in
turnovers since 2004. Last season, the Bulldogs turned it over 23 times
while getting only nine takeaways, so they were minus 14.
You can see the Bulldogs in action against Weber State starting at 7 p.m.
