FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
The annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon -- which we bring you on KMPH Fox 26 -- is about three weeks away.
And this year, it's being called the "Show of Strength."
Muscle diseases affect millions of people around the world and many right here in the Valley.
The MDA relies on your donations to help provide services for those folks and holds fundraisers throughout the year.
One person who the MDA helps is 17-year-old Ke'Aunna Wheeler of Bakersfield.
In the video, KMPH News reporter Ashley Ritchie shows us how Ke'Aunna turned her disability into the driving force behind her success.
The "Show of Strength" Telethon will air Sunday, September 2, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on KMPH Fox 26.
