FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A missing Fresno teenage girl has been found safe in Monterey County.

Fresno Police say 14-year-old Julissa Garcia left with her former neighbor almost two weeks ago.

Officers are crediting what they say were many great tips that led them to the girl.

Police believe that on or around July 31st, she left with 43-year-old Jose "Lalo" Garcia.

While they have the same last name, they are not related.

The teen's family members say Garcia lived in the same apartments as them, and the two had started a relationship.

Jose Garcia was already wanted on two drug-related charges. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on four counts including the warrants, child stealing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Julissa is back home with her family.
