VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Visalia woman has just celebrated a big birthday.

Jessie Clore, a resident at Kaweah Manor Convalescent Hospital, turned 106 on Thursday, August 9.

This year, Ms. Clore stayed in town. Last year, the hospital made her wish a reality and drove her to her home in Grover Beach, California where she lived for 30 years.

During an interview with KMPH News in 2011, Ms. Clore said she attributes her long life to God's blessings.
