FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A man known to Fresno Police has been arrested for the third time this month after they say he led them on a chase and crashed into a power pole Wednesday morning.
Officers say 25-year-old Michael Chavez was already on probation when he was caught driving a stolen car.
Police say he wouldn't pull over, but wrecked at a power pole off Winery and Hamilton in Southeast Fresno.
PG&E crews were called in to replace the pole.
Police say this is Chavez's eighth arrest so far this year.
