Fresno County Sheriff's Detectives say they arrested an employee of the county's Behavioral Health Department in connection with the sexual assault of one of his clients.
Pao Vue Vang, 52, of Fresno, was arrested Monday after an interview with detectives.
The investigation began last week when the 27-year-old female victim reported the assault to authorities, sheriff's spokesman Chris Curtice said.
Pao, who is listed as an unlicensed clinician for the Behavioral Health Department, had apparently been helping the victim who was a client.
The assault took place during a session with the victim last Friday at Vang's office on East Kings Canyon Avenue, Curtice said.
Pao was booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of rape and sexual penetration with a foreign object by force. He has since bonded out.
