FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

The body of a California National Guard soldier killed in Afghanistan arrived at the Modesto Airport Tuesday morning.

Spc. Benjamin Pleitez, 25, of Turlock, was killed on July 27.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday in Turlock, with burial at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella.

Spc. Pleitez is the fourth California National Guardsmen to die in Afghanistan.
