FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A portion of a Southeast Fresno roadway remained closed Tuesday morning after a fiery crash.
The crash happened on Peach, between Florence and Butler, Monday night.
Police say Seng Yang crashed into a power pole and a telephone pole, which caused his car to flip over and burst into flames. Emergency crews pulled him out.
Investigators say Yang was driving drunk. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
That stretch of Peach Avenue was expected to be closed for at least 12 hours.
The accident knocked out power in the area, but service has since been restored.
