Man Arrested After Suspicious Fire In Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man is under arrest in connection with a house fire in Central Fresno that firefighters have determined to be suspicious.

Fire crews were called to a home on Callisch and Shields just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

They were able to knock down the fire, but not before it caused about $20,000 in damage.

Five people were displaced, and one man was arrested.

Investigators have not said what his connection is to the home.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.

No other details were immediately available.
