FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A suspected gang member accused of head-butting a Fresno police officer was back out on the streets Sunday afternoon, hours after he was arrested for the second time in two days.
Police were called to a home in the 4900 block of E. Grove Avenue in Southeast Fresno around 2:30 a.m. Sunday after someone complained about a drunk family member.
Police say 20-year-old Emilio Aparicio fought with an officer who was trying to talk with him.
It turns out, Aparicio was arrested just 24 hours earlier after police say they caught him with a loaded gun near Olive and Millbrook.
Police say Aparicio was arrested again Sunday morning for head-butting the officer. He was booked into jail, but was released a few hours later because of overcrowding.
